The Misfits

In August 2022 THE MISFITS initiative was launched to provide opportunities to rugby players in the Caribbean to participate in elite level international tournaments, with the emphasis upon personal growth, mental and physical development. Most importantly, players would embrace and enjoy this experience with the expectation that it would contribute to their growth in becoming responsible, productive, respectful players within the region. In turn these individuals will use the skills acquired to support their countries in their growth of rugby and community support. 

THE MISFITS are a revitalizing outlook for the Caribbean region and in the rugby community. We have coordinated efforts in developing relationships with many of the Caribbean Islands Rugby Unions. In doing so we have generated a large pool of elite and promising players who are all looking for the opportunity to play for THE MISFITS. Mexico, Barbados, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti and the Dominican Republic are just a few of the islands excited about this opportunity to work with THE MISFITS. Upholding their end of the deal by recommending, training and developing players for the standards we are looking for to be selected.  

Consequently, tournaments require financial assistance and the majority of our community consists of volunteers. 

This initiative needs assistance from organizations like yours to thrive. We wouldn’t be able to serve our team without partners. In appreciation of your anticipated donation, we will offer advertising on all our social media platforms & a space for advertising on our uniform.
