As an 800m runner, I turned professional in October 2023 at the age of 28, driven by the unwavering goal of competing at the highest national and international levels, with the ultimate dream of qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

In pursuit of this dream, I have left behind my engineering career and wholeheartedly embraced the life of a professional athlete. Competing at this level demands unwavering commitment, with ten to twelve training sessions per week, dedicating my entire day to training and recovery. The path to the pinnacle of sport is undoubtedly challenging yet immensely rewarding.

As an independent athlete, I bear the financial burden of my training and preparation. This includes:

• A team of coaches and professionals: Physical preparation, nutrition, mental coaching
• Travel expenses for international competitions on the World Athletics circuit
• Physiotherapy and rehabilitation
• Technical equipment

Despite balancing a full-time job with my training in 2023, I achieved significant results, setting a personal best of 1:46.57 and securing 4th place in the Italian national rankings, just a step away from European qualification and a mere 1.7 seconds shy of the Olympic standard.

My journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and unwavering belief in one's dreams. I am committed to giving my all in pursuit of my Olympic aspirations, inspiring others to chase their dreams with unwavering determination.
