Andrei Arlovski currently competes in the UFC heavyweight division but before UFC he has also competed in Strikeforce, WSOF, Affliction, EliteXC, ONE FC, and M-1 challenge. He got the motivation to become a professional fighter from his childhood as he was bullied a lot during his school days. He decided to start lifting weights at the age of 14 and thereby went on to become a professional MMA fighter. He has a wife and a son with whom he stays in Chicago. He also has a pit bull with whom he plays in his free time. He loves his dog and also did a public service announcement against dogfighting and called it inhumane and torture. He also claimed that he chose his name pitbull following his love for his dog. He is also an actor and has featured in many films and TV shows like Limitless, Universal Soldier: Regeneration, etc.
