Devanshi Satija

I am India’s youngest and first female para swimmer to win medals at the Asian Para Games 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia, where I secured one silver and one bronze medal for the country at just 15 years old. My international journey began at the age of 13 when I won my first silver and bronze medals at the Asian Youth Para Games 2017 in Dubai. I continued that momentum in 2021 at the Youth Asian Para Games in Bahrain, where I once again won silver and bronze—becoming the only swimmer from the Indian team to win medals at the competition. Over the past decade, since 2015, I’ve consistently been a national gold medalist and record holder. Most recently, I represented India at the Asian Para Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China, where I placed 5th in my event and continue to strive towards even greater milestones in the sport.
