Dimitri “Dim” Charrière is a French freeski pioneer and a long-standing figure in the international ski industry. Originally from Chamonix, France, he has dedicated more than two decades to skiing, competing internationally and contributing to the development of freestyle and action sports at a time when the disciplines were still emerging.

A former professional skier and international competitor, Dim was part of the early generation of European freeskiers competing on the international circuit and in FIS World Cup events. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with some of the most influential brands in the ski and action sports industry, including Rossignol, Salomon, Arnette, Von Zipper, Bollé and Oakley — as an athlete, team manager, product specialist, ambassador and business developer.

Over the years, his role naturally evolved from professional athlete to industry expert. He has been involved in product development, athlete management, brand strategy, marketing, international business development and the creation of events and experiences connecting brands, riders, media and ski resorts.

Dim has also played an active role in developing international action-sports events. His projects include the KSA Snow Blast in Riyadh, an international freestyle event bringing together professional skiers and snowboarders, as well as numerous ski camps, competitions, brand activations and international projects.

Today, Dim operates at the intersection of skiing, brands, business, marketing, events and international development. His experience spans the entire ecosystem of the ski industry  from athletes and product development to resorts, events, retail, brand activations and emerging international markets.

Still actively skiing and testing equipment, he maintains a direct connection with today's riders, the next generation of talent and the evolution of ski culture. He is particularly involved in projects focused on freeski development, youth programs, ski resorts, product innovation and the international expansion of ski and action-sports brands.

What makes Dim unique is the combination of first-hand experience as a professional athlete and more than 20 years of industry expertise. He understands what riders need, what brands are looking for and how to create meaningful connections between the two.
