Genesis Duarte Suarez

I am currently on my third year at a DI Junior College, due to covid, class of 2020 obtained a blackout year for the first year. I had been introduced to the college athlete lifestyle and absolutely fell in-love,  I always loved competitive softball and always felt like I was the most competitive in my environment. Being able to surround yourself with athletes that love to grind just like me has been very motivational. Last year, I was looking to shine and grind, be a force to be reckoned with, putting in hours of extra work and going hard but, I found myself battling. mental battle. The past two years I haven't given it my all and I haven't pushed myself to doing everything that is vital to be extremely successful. This year I have taken a different approach decreased my circle, allowed the love I have for the game and the grind to explode inside me. I decided that making excuses was not an answer for me anymore and I have been taking the summer and fall off season to just grind and be the best I can be. It's easy to give up and be content once you see improvement it's hard to keep going to maintain and keep growing, this year my goal is to become an All American. I will achieve all the goals I have set out for, being sponsored would be an absolute honor, being given the opportunity to motivate and inspire others while doing what i love has been something I have always wanted to do. I love social media but, I always felt like I had to choose between being an athlete and doing social media. I can do both I can grind hard and show people on my social media so they can be motivated to want to work to be better just like me. It is important that people see the ugly and struggles behind athletes not just successes, I would love to  be a coach after playing because I haven't had a coach that cared about mental health or the athlete as a human until I came to college. I want to be a change and voice for people and being sponsored will allow me to elevate my platform expand my brand while also influencing and promoting your goods to individuals that enjoy the same things i enjoy.
