Jacopo Hosciuc, born on October 12, 2005, is a Romanian speed motorcyclist. He has almost 11 years of experience in a motorcycle saddle. His first contact with a motorcycle was in 2010, then, at the age of 4, Jacopo rode a mini-motorcycle with which he won many trophies (central-southern Italy). At the age of 8, in 2014, Jacopo participated for the first time in a national championship, of Italy, with the Phantom team, where he finished the season in 8th place overall. In 2015, the Romanian driver participated in the same championship, but in a higher category, year in which the team in which Jacopo (Phantom) participates abandoned the competition season for technical reasons. The year 2016 represented the first presence of Jacopo Hosciuc in the National Championship of Romania, in the 50cc class, where he won all 8 races, taking the title in this category. At the same time, in the same year, the young driver participated in the Italian PreMiniGP championship, where he finished the season on the 3rd place. In 2017, Jacopo remained in the national system of Romania, where he competed in the 85cc class, where he won 6 races out of 6 disputed, taking the title of national champion again, but he also competed in Italy, at the MiniGP championship, where he finished the season on the 8th place. Taking a big step, at the age of 12, in 2018, the Romanian rider switched to a 125cc motorcycle , in two stages, competing in the Italian National Championship (CIV), in the PreMoto3 class, with the Flash Motors team (Honda), finishing the season in second place, which delighted many people, this being his first year on such a motorcycle. In 2019, at the age of 13, he took an even bigger step, riding a 250cc 4-stroke motorcycle, competing in the same Italian championship with the AcademyGP team and finishing the season in 5th place. Last season, in 2020, Jacopo was selected to participate in the Northern Talent Cup, a competition organized by Dorna (holder of MotoGP and WSBK rights), where he competed on a KTM of 250cc (4 times), with his own team, 100% Romanian, HOS Racing Team finishing the season in place 5. In the current season, 2021, the Northern Talent Cup, selected Jacopo again, managing three podiums, including a fabulous victory in Assen, the Netherlands.
