Sofia Griffiths-Williams

Sofia is a 14-year-old elite diver with Sheffield Diving, training daily at Ponds Forge. In 2026 she became National Champion across all three boards at the National Finals, won bronze on platform at her first junior elite international (Rijeka, Croatia), and was named her club's Female National Age Group Diver of the Year. Her long-term target is the 2032 Olympics.

Diving costs around £10,000 a year in pool fees, coaching, competitions and the daily commute to Sheffield. We're a self-funded family and one parent gave up work to make her training possible.

Sponsors fund something concrete — a month of training, a competition, a full year — and are credited on the content that comes from it. Every sponsor gets their logo on Sofia's dive bag, the Team Sofia shirt and sofiadives.co.uk, plus a thank-you post to @teamsofiadive. Current partners include WUKA and Jonny Cocktail Bars & Events. Bespoke and in-kind partnerships welcome.
