NAIA

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is a college athletics association for small colleges and universities in the United States. The association contains 249 members of institutions, as reckoned for the season 2020/21. The number of national championships sponsored by the NAIA is 27 across the US. The main national media outlet for the NAIA is CBS Sports Network.

For student-athletes who couldn't join NCAA colleges, the NAIA can be a great alternative to pursue a career in sports and earn a college degree. NAIA institutions may not have the high profile of NCAA colleges, but they offer a wide range of opportunities, such as scholarships, for students who are as interested in academic pursuits as they are in athletics.
